Children should always wear PFDs. Most states require it by law. Our PFDs for infants & children under 50lbs have flotation collars to support the head. For kids above 50lbs we offer better fit adjustments for a growing body, with a scaled down adult design that doesn’t “look like a little kid”. Sizes are weight specific. Don't buy a vest for your child to grow into. If it’s too big out of the water, it’ll be too big IN the water and won’t do the job it was designed to do. MTI makes great, yet affordable, kid’s PFDs for paddlesports or just running around on the dock.
